On Wednesday 12th October; some our Year 5, who are part of the Swindon Town in the Community "Project Me" initiative, joined up with Staying Connected participants to support Mental Health Awareness Day at Foundation Park. The two groups were invited to complete some mindfulness tasks, in the form of emotions worksheets and bracelet making. The purpose of these activities was to recognise 'who' and 'what' we are thankful for. Focusing on these aspects can contribute towards positive mental health.

During these activities, the Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to engage with pupils from another school and senior citizens from the Staying Connected Project, forming positive relationships between different generations.

A huge thank you goes to Swindon Town in the Community for inviting us to this wonderful event.
