On Thursday 16th April, parents and carers around the country will be receiving place offers for their children entering school for the first time.
Welcoming all our new pupils to our school every year is one of the most exciting and joyful times of the year. While we are living through an unusual period, we are no less excited to see all the new faces join our school community in September.
The early years can be among the most important. We make sure that every child that joins our school feels a sense of belonging in our school.
It is our responsibility to help our pupils:
- Develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and ICT to a high standard.
- Have the self-belief and confidence to reach their full potential.
- Acquire an inquisitive mind and a life-long appetite for learning.
In all of these goals, we are proud to say that we have a strong track record. This is supported by the fact that we were most recently rated by Ofsted as an outstanding school.
To secure your child’s place at our fantastic school, make sure to accept your offer before 30th April. For those who did not receive an offer of a place at Mountford Manor Primary School, you can still appeal until Monday 18th May. More information can be found here: https://www.swindon.gov.uk/info/20071/school_places_and_admissions/973/school_admission_appeals.
To all the young pupils starting school for the very first time in September, we can’t wait to meet you!
