Festive Fundraising with Christmas Jumper Day

Festive Fundraising with Christmas Jumper Day

Today, our pupils and staff are donning their best christmas jumpers as we participate in Christmas Jumper Day! This year, we're raising money and food donations for the local charity, Swindon Scrapstore.

During the day, our children will be attending a virtual Christmas singing assembly with each class singing a fun Christmas song. To end our Christmas themed day, children will also be given the opportunity to watch a live streaming of the Christmas Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk!

The school is raising food donations for the local Charity Swindon Scrapstore. The Swindon Scrapstore have been a great friend to the school during the pandemic donating craft boxes and food parcels to many of our families. As a school, we decided we would like to give something back in return for their kindness over the last few months.

As a school, we recognise the value of supporting others and making a difference to the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. Fundraising events such as this are an exciting opportunity for our school community to join together to help raise money for an excellent cause.

Principal Lee Edmonds said, "It's great to see the children come in to school in their colourful jumpers even more so when we could use the event to raise so many donations for a worthy cause."

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the pupils and teachers who are taking part, as well as the staff who arranged the event and made our fundraising possible.
