Building on Our School’s Core Values

Mountford Manor Primary School is built on a foundation of values that are promoted throughout the school and permeate everything we do. These values are an integral part of school life and education, as well as the growth and moral development of our pupils.

This academic year, we are giving particular focus to six key values:

  • Resilience
  • Kindness
  • Honesty
  • Humility
  • Courage
  • Cooperation

They will be highlighted throughout the school year, with each individual value being the primary focus for a term at a time.

These values are a great feature of Mountford Manor and are integral to the fantastic learning environment that pervades the entire school. To maintain the prevalence of these values and continue teaching pupils their importance, all members of staff embody them in everything they do at school.

Under my headship, these values will be emphasised, and everyone involved with the school will be encouraged to exemplify them at every opportunity. In doing so, we will establish a caring school atmosphere and an excellent learning environment that is conducive to education and success.
