Mountford Manor Primary For Parents

COVID-19 School Status

Dear parents and carers

Firstly, I hope you are and your family are well and managing to stay safe and healthy.
I thought I'd send out a short message to just say how proud I am of the children and families of Mountford Manor.

These are very unusual times and one day, when this is all over, we will be able to look back and reflect on how brilliantly our community overcame such a huge challenge and how we stuck together to help and care for each other.
The children have been so brave and resilient and demonstrated each and every one of our school values.
I have heard numerous stories of how the children have been kind and thoughtful during these strange times which fills me with pride.
Even when they have not been at school, children have acted so positively to their learning.

For example, I was recently sent some wonderful photos from Amelia, who is in Reception, which showed the great work she has been doing at home. It made me so happy to see such determination and willingness to learn!

Please keep reminding the children to show courage by talking to adults about what they are worried and afraid of. Like we discuss in school, the willingness to ask for help and support is a true sign of strength.

I can't wait to see everyone back at school again but in the meantime please continue to stay safe and healthy.

Best Wishes

Mr Edmonds, Principal
