Here is the new Tag Rugby kit as chosen by our team and sourced from the wonderful Mrs Hall, Mrs Hall managed to work her wizardry and find some money to get our team a new kit, now not only do we work hard but we play hard too,
“Thanks Mrs Hall we won’t let you down!”
Tag Rugby is run by Mr Fox on a Wednesday afterschool, the session is designed to encourage those who have an interest in Rugby to take part in training in tag rugby, we work together to build up our general levels of fitness and stamina as well as learning the skills we need to be the best team in the federation.
Term 5 Tag Rugby Diary
This is our first year running the club and we are proud to have elected Kray Wyatt as our team captain. We are looking forward to our first match coming up shortly and will keep you all up to date with our victories.
Here is the debut photo of the new and improved ‘Mountford Maulers’ Rugby team.
They represented the school at their first multi school Tag Rugby tournament held at Isambard school. They faced very tough opposition against teams who receive regular professional training. Out of the 16 schools that attended they placed 7th and made our school very proud. Keep up the hard work team.

Saw the first of Mountford Manors tag rugby team matches against other schools from the federation. They started well against Nylands team, they showed a good possession, passed well and had good formation, all of which culminated in a great win for them. The second match was against our rivals. Drove. We held Drove to a tie and the same with Tregoze.
Overall our Team Captain Kray was pleased with our performance and has now put together a training plan to improve our team’s stamina ready for the next match. Well done to all those who gave it their all.
Mountford Team rocking their new Netball kit with their coach Mrs Hall who worked financial wonders to get us our new snazzy kit and equipment,
“It makes us feel like we are part of a team, we work hard in our training and now we look the part too!”
