Mountford Manor Primary
Mountford Manor Primary is located on the outskirts of Swindon’s town centre. We are extremely fortunate in that we are situated on a large site which consists of a sizeable playing field, playgrounds and even its own forest! We are a one form entry school ranging from a nursery (2-4 year olds) to year 6 (11 year olds). We also have an SRP (specially resourced provision) unit for primary aged children with behaviour, social and emotional difficulties who attend from other schools in Swindon for three days a week. Mountford Manor is becoming a much more multicultural school; we now have 16 languages spoken by our children.
Being part of The White Horse Federation has huge advantages for us as a small school. We are able to use the support and experience from our counterparts in our other federated schools to ensure that best practice is taking place, borrow extra mini buses so we are able to take more children on trips and hold festivals which bring our children in our federated schools across Swindon to work together. The other benefit is that of our colleagues in HR, finance and IT who are experts in their field and always at the end of the phone if we need them.
